The Neurocritical Care Foundation, launched in association with the Neurocritical Care Society, is a 501(c)3 organization whose goal is to foster collaboration between individuals and organizations who support and perform neurocritical care-related research, with an emphasis on treatments and cures for life-threatening neurological disorders. The foundation is governed by a 15-member board of directors who abides by the organization's Bylaws.

The Foundation will offer opportunities at local, regional, national, and international levels to build long-term relationships between the Neurocritical Care Society, donors, and the worldwide philanthropic community at large. Individuals and organizations will have the opportunity to donate to and collaborate with researchers and educators from across the globe. Ultimately, the foundation seeks to form collaborations without borders.

To reduce the impact of life-threatening neurological diseases through advancements in the quality of care, with the goal of improving survival and recovery from neurological disease treated in the intensive care unit worldwide.
